something that just ticked you off today....

There's so many topics about how we helped people or what we're grateful for, but let's face it not every moment of every day is rosy.....soooo if you have a little something that might have set you off, ticked you off, or you just want to vent...go to it!

I'll start...lol:laugh: , it's been a rough day,

The nurse who does my daughters chemo blew a vein in my baby girls arm, and insisted it wasn't her fault, but mine because I was talking and made my daughter move her arm....completely untrue.

Today at work, a woman who constantly likes to run backwards on the treadmill, after the fourth time I told her not to, because she may hurt herself, sure enough, she went to jump forward from her backwards walk, and slipped, the treadmill, literally threw her against the wall......then she had the nerve to file an accident report, should have been a stupidity report.

I locked my keys in my car when I left work, to sure enough have left my spare key in the glove box,(I just had it cut and didn't move it)...stupid me, being there's a snow storm today it took the CAA 2.5 hours to arrive to open my car!

    Besides the horrible cravings for mini eggs and coke all day...and the fact that my kids don't seem to hear me talking?

    Well, today we were out getting a hair cut for my son and the lady (WHO I DO NOT KNOW) asks me if my son is adopted or if I have a dark husband (now - my kids are adopted and I am very use to this questions), so I explained that yes they are adopted. Then she proceeds to ask me if I have any kids of my own? I HATE THAT QUESTION! And then says, what was up with the mom - why didn't she want him? IDIOT!!!!!! Who asks or says such a stupid thing in front of an adorable little four year old boy! Then she proceeds to drone on about how she could never raise someone else's child...blah blah blah........I wanted to rip her head off, but I was speechless - which does not happen very often. I really didn't need this on a day where my cravings were high and I am fighting a killer head ache! So of course I came in and gave in to my cravings, but instead of reverting back to old habits of overindulging I counted out just a few mini eggs and poured myself half a coke and had a reasonable dinner and still am under on my calories - A MIRACLE!!!

    Based on your day I would say that anything that ticked me off is completely irrelevant and I hope you have a better day tomorrow

    omg, I can't beleive how ignorant people can be, she was WAYYYY outta line! yay, for you for adopting, whatever the reasons may be, the world needs more people like you.

    Thank you, but grades are important as well, I have a very frustrating teenage boy, 18 who until this year was a good scholar, then he met "the" Rachel, and well.....he's not graduating, so I feel your pain:cry:

    OMG I love your thread idea! I'm so sorry you had such a crappy day!

    I had some major life changes (bad) happen in spring 2006 that resulted in me dropping out of school. My parents were paying the university and I was paying the gov loans. My mom stopped paying at some point and they went into collections and now are being repaid monthly.

    First of all - all this is in my name. And by my parents paying - I mean the money set aside for my college which doesn't nearly match what they paid for my older sister's private tuition. I was nearly being sued for money we have that my mom just didn't care enough to remember pay.

    Now here it is almost three years later and I'm finally ready to go do some school (on my own dollar might I add) and I am soo excited. I made an appointment with an advisor to join and EMT program.

    So I go to the University to get my transcript for the new school. They tell me I can't have it. :mad: :mad: I've been told that its illegal for them to hold an unofficial transcript - only official ones - the woman tells me that's a lie. Apparently until the ENTIRE old bill is payed in full I can't go to a new college!!! :explode: :explode:

    The worst part is the reason I dropped out is REALLY REALLY PERSONAL AND HARD and they're telling me the only way to get my transcript before the bill is all payed is to go through an appeals process explaining absolutely EVERYTHING!! It took me 3 years to move past this mess and get on with my life and now its back SLAPPING ME IN THE FREAKING FACE!! :mad: :sad: :mad: :sad:

    oh wow......I can't beleive that you can't get your transcripts, i'd fight that one, it's like a doctors file, it's yours, the outstanding bill shouldn't have anything to do with it, I can't imagine your frustration, I think it's admirable that you're willing to go back to school, maybe you can come and give my boys a pep talk! they haven't quite gotten it yet

    Thats ok, we just got served papers. We are gettings sued by our landlord. We made an agreement to pay 150 less until our mold (yes i said mold) problem was taken care of. It was not solved and we called health and human services. Now were are getting sued and evicted. Or at least he is trying, too bad we have great pictures! We've been asking to get out of our lease for a very long time. ERRRRR.....

    My daughter had to get shots today, and she is teething.

    So at least I know I am not the only one having a horrible day. All i want to do is pig out I am a big time emotional eatter.....

    That bites - sounds like you have a solid case though. Be sure to counter-sue for your legal fees. :happy:

    I am sooooo sorry! I wish I could have been there to help you out in ANY of those situations but the good news is;; you made it through without decking the nurse- telling the girl she was a true idiot - for not kicking your car and you must have seen some beauty in the storm about to arrive right? Another thing is: you will know exactly HOW to handle these situations in the future because YOU did it today!!! Hugs to you and hug your daughter from me too! Hang in there sweetie, your days WILL get better!
