Hello everyone!
I am new to all this, I've been through something recently and have put on some weight that I would like to use. Does anyone have any tips they can give me on meals for healthy eating? It would be appreciated.
Thankyou,
Caitlin.

Hi Caitlin, you can search on here for lots of ideas or you can friend some people and see what they are eating. I love the Skinny Taste cookbooks and she also has a website. What your meals look like will depend on your daily calorie level. I am older so I don't have as much to play with. For example some people consume 400 - 500 calories for breakfast where that would break the bank for me. What has worked for me was to determine what I was willing to change, what I was willing to give up and how much food I want to eat. For example, I still use full fat sour cream. I eat alot less of it and smaller quantities of other things so I can accomodate that. My son refused to eat half a baked potato so he uses greek yogurt. I'm not ready to make that change. The main thing is to get your calories in the right range and not be starving all the time. I could eat chocolate bars for each meal but I wouldn't be satisfied so I have to add veggies and protein etc. Obviously I also want to be healthy too but we need to get rid of the good food/bad food mentality. In order to lose weight and keep it off you have to find something you can live with for the rest of your life otherwise you will just gain it back. I've lost 84 pounds doing this and I am satisfied with my new lifestyle. In my opinion this is the recipe for success. Good luck.
