Hi,

I'm looking for some help with my macro settings!
I am 24 year old female, 6'0", currently 265 lbs (already lost about 15 lbs) with a goal weight of 180. I am a nurse, while working I spend the majority of my 12 hr shift on my feet. Besides that, I do try to do 30-60 mins of cardio 3-4x week. The exercise part has been my downfall but I'm trying to do better.
Any suggestions of what calorie goals and macros I should set?

Thanks!

Did you go through the MFP setup to get a calorie goal? Why don't you want to try the MFP default macro balance of 50% carbs_20% protein_30% fat?

The best macro balance is the one that works best with your way of eating. The only things you need to watch are that you get at least enough protein and fat.

    There's lots of online macro-calculators. Here's one I like: https://www.katyhearnfit.com/macro-calculator.html

Also- youtube has lots of tutorials on how to calculate your macros as well. It'll take some trial and error, but stick with a set of macros for at least a couple weeks before making modifications.

0.8g of protein per pound of bodyweight
0.35g of fat per pound of bodyweight

    Carbs the rest
