You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE!"
You can sing the rap to "The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air"
You've worn skorts and felt stylish.
You've owned New Kids On the Block merchandise and rocked it.
You yearned to be part of the Baby-Sitters club.
You use to love playing with your My Little Pet Shop.
You know that "WOAH" comes from Joey from "Blossom" and that "How Rude!" comes from Stephanie from "Full House."
You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons. (very true, cartoons these days are (for lack of a better word) sucky.
You wore a ponytail on the side of your head and had fluffed bangs.
You got super excited when it was Oregon Trail day in computer class
at school.
You wanted to change your name to "JEM" in kindergarten.
You remember reading "Goosebumps."
You know the profound meaning of "Wax on, wax off."
You have pondered why Smurfette was the only female smurf. (
You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school.
You remember the craze then the banning of slap/shag bracelets and slam books.
You still get the urge to say "NOT" after every sentence...
Not...
You knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green ranger,
were meant to be together.
You remember "I've fallen and I can't get up"
You remember going to the skating rink before there were inline skates
You ever got injured on a Slip' n' Slide
You wore socks over leggings scrunched down.
"Miss Mary Mack, Mack, Mack, all dressed in black, black, black,
With silver buttons, buttons, buttons, all down her back, back, back" she asked her mother mother mother for fifty cents cents cents to see the elephants, elephants, elephants, jump over the fence fence fence. He jumped so high high high, he touched the sky sky sky and he didn't come down down down, until the fourth of july ly ly, he jumped so low low low he stumbled his toe oe oe and that's the end end end of the elephant show show show!
You remember boom boxes vs. cd players.
You knew what it meant to say "Care Bear Stare."
You remember Alf, the little brown alien from Melmac and Vicki the
Robot from "MY Little Wonder."
You remember New Kids on The Block when they were cool.
You knew all the characters names and their life stories on
"Saved By The Bell."
You played and or collected "Pogs."
You used to pretend to be a MIGHTY MORPHIN Power Ranger and you
owned a Skip-It.
You had at least one GigaPet or NanoBaby and brought it everywhere.
You watched the original Care Bears, My Little Pony, and Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles.
All your school supplies were "Lisa Frank" brand.
You used to wear those stick on earrings, not only on your ears, but at
the corners of your eyes. (hahah..oh so true)
You remember a time before the WB.
You've gotten creeped out by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"
You thought it would be so cool to be Alex Mack. (for sure)
You know the Macarena by heart.
Talk to the hand" ... enough said
You thought Brain (from pinky and the brain) would finally take over the world.
You remember when Michael Jackson was not so creepy but really cool!
The poka-dot door was way better than poka-dot shorts!
Your from the 90s if you owned a bag of marbles!
Computer's hadn't taken over your life
You know who Fred Penner is
Neon was cool
You can remember the Mc Pizza and when KFC had spicy wings.
You owned every single teenage mutant Ninga Turtle accessory.
The phrase "I am the terror that flaps in the night..." Still get you a little excited!
:')

Allll of this! Except I hated Furbies.0 -
What about legneds of the hidden temple and double dare, Wild and Crazy Kids, Skip it's ( haha I realized I was to old for it when my foot didn't fit in the loop anymore), Bill Nye the Science guy????,
and for oregon trail, haha I cannot believe they let us play that let alone in school. It seemed so violent for that time now looking back on it ( learning how to shoot animals was real educational....but it kept class interesting lol)0 -
Wow, I could relate to all those and my daughter is a child of the 90's (Damn I'm old) great trip down memory lane!0
-
ahhhh my strawberry shortcake plastic lunchbox with matching thermos. Full House, Lisa Frank folders and notebooks, yeah I could pretty much relate to it alllll. Great trip down memory lane!0
-
I still love Oregon Trail haha the "computers hadn't taken over your life" part doesn't apply to me, though--my dad was a graphic designer so we had 4 computers and would have Warcraft II LAN parties between him, me, and my older brother in the basement... I definitely wasn't on the internet as much as I am at this age but I remember when Napster first came out and being really excited about getting free music
I still buy Lisa Frank notebooks :bigsmile:0 -
Oh gosh! All of these, so true. My 7 year old read the list with me and I had to explain every single one to her, LOL. How great were the 90s? Man I miss playing "kick the can" with the neighbors until the street lights came on! Can't do that these days, there's predators EVERYWHERE. We had it SO lucky in the 90s, life was good, and then everything had to get so screwed up. The younger generations don't resspect the older generations, PC makes laughing at anything innappropriate, no one hardly compliments strangers anymore. Thanks generations Y and Z for screwing it up for the rest of us.0

I miss the days of proper morning cartoons. When cartoon network meant Flintstones, Yogi Bear, Jetsons, Tom & Jerry, Smurfs, Scooby Doo, Animanias... Sigh. It's all crap now.0
-
Story of my life! And I am totally guilty of still being obsessed with NKOTB. I saw them in concert on Tuesday, actually..... and last month....
I love (and miss) the 90's on a daily basis.0 -
skip its omg i had a pink one and went to fast and it tripped me up lol0
-
Firstly, if you think all cartoons now-a-days are crappy, you're not watching the right ones. The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack come to mind
Secondly, there were a lot of those things that were from the 80s, but of course we can still related to them, too, but one of them has to be from the 50s ... I mean, seriously, how many people owned a bag of marbles? I remember having SOME marbles, but I don't know anyone who had a collection, and certainly not actually in the 90s, haha.
And thirdly, if you think that things are not as good now and that the 90s were better ... you're seriously mistaken.
Let's never forget that this was a thing:

You had to have a Super Soaker 20000
