Anyone Else Re-Starting the Journey?

Hello, my name is Caroline. I first started using MFP in January of 2013. I ended up losing 30 pounds through logging all my food on MFP and exercising consistently. I felt so much lighter, stronger, and more energetic. I honestly thought I'd finally conquered my weight problem.
Fast forward to 2017...here I am again...at my all time highest weight. I gained the 30 pounds back and packed on another 15 pounds. I feel discouraged and powerless; I keep saying that tomorrow is the day I'll start over. Yet I know that if I was able to do this before, I can do it again. I think I know where I went wrong last time...I lost too much weight too quickly. I treated the process as if it were a diet rather than a lifestyle change.
I would love to befriend other people who are starting this journey again. Perhaps we can help each other stay motivated and inspired the second time around. Thanks!

Hi, Caroline. My name is Gaby and reading your post, I swear I felt like I was reading my own life story.. except that instead of 45 it was more like 60-70lbs for me. I also lost weight too quickly and never treated it like a lifestyle.. and I think I started back in 2012? Anyway, feel free to add me if you'd like. Maybe we can help each other out..0

Hi my name is Rosie and I'm also restarting this journey. Since I've last been on here I also gained all my weight back and packed on more as well. That's only been within a year. This time I'm more serous about the diet and exercising and sticking to it. I want to be healthy and active for my daughter who's 4. I'm 35 5"4 weighing 174 the most I ever weighed. I'm not thrilled about my body anymore. I hope I can stick to eating healthy and working out more. I need motivation! So feel free to add me.0

I started over again in June. I lost 33lb in the first of half of 2014. Kept almost all of it off until halfway through 2016, gaining back about 29 of it. Eek. I'm down 10lb again and this is the LAST TIME I am doing this!0

This was my 3rd time on MFP. I have lost over 50 pounds this year. I am never doing it again. I have made lasting habits I can live with. Good luck. YOU can ALL do it to. Lets get it off, keep it off. We are in the right place.
