OK, the title is shamelessly stolen from a series of articles and books giving healthier swaps for similar meals in restaurants, supermarkets and takeaways.

Is there anything whose calories have horrified you that you've found good, similar swaps for? Here's my first offering from British high-street stalwart Marks & Spencer:

Eat this:
Marks & Spencer - Lochmuir Hot Smoked Salmon With Potato Salad & Watercress - 240 calories (every one of them delicious!)

Not that:
Marks & Spencer - Pasta Salad with Chicken, Bacon and Sweetcorn - 800 calories! *faints*

Saving:
560 calories - that's a whole other meal's worth!

I used to get that in a meal deal with crisps and a soft drink! No wonder I got fat!

I have a couple of these. Who would have known that an egg mcmuffin is actually not a bad breakfast (aside from the sodium) compared to most other fast food breakfast offerings. I think these books are great to open your eyes at all the places you can save calories/fat.
