For sure!!! Anything with salt or sugar will bloat you. To de-bloat drink lemon water and eat only unprocessed foods. Crackers, bread etc will swell you up. When you drink lemon water you will be amazed how quickly the excess water comes off.

I personally find salty foods definitely make me bloat when I'm approaching it. I wish I could find something that helped me "de-bloat" but so far nothing!!

I drink lots of water as well as Raspberry Zinger tea. It seems to lessen my cramps.

I agree with the others , anything salty or sweet . Imagine that , its all I seem to want to eat at the time. My bloating has gotten so bad the dr put me on lasix . Not fun I wish I could eat and do like I did before I had kids and have the knowledge then that I have now .

i heard that nuts, pretzel, 1 TBSP peanut butter on whole wheat pita bread are better to fill your hunger than chocolate and other sweets.

Banana, potato, oatmeal, peanut butter, whole grain bread/cereal were listed to help less bloat in an article I have read a while ago. Calcium helps ease bloating as well.

I personally like to drink Raspberry tea to combat all the junk that comes with period.

Of course, salty is what I crave most during those times!

I find that drinking green tea helps, given that tea is a natural diuretic and helps to keep the water weight off. Drinking a lot of plain water is good, too.
