    I does..i had a friend drop 162lbs just by walking, and it really motivated me to lace up..I dropped 57lbs so far. I still continue to walk at least 4-5x a week. Now im doing shred, sculpting..dancing to tone myself up a little more..hoping to have even better pics by Summer 2012 lol want to be in a bikini and feel good you know? :smile:

    I walk anywhere from 3-5 miles a day..some days i can walk 8-10 miles if i feel too energetic.

    I have been trying to get motivated to walk every night. You just pushed me right over the edge into making the commitment to do so. Thanks! and congrats on your success.
  • Thanks so much for posting this! I have recently started walking. Even though I go fast enough to get sore, break out in a sweat and get my heart rate up, I'm still skeptical that something as basic as walking could be an efficient workout. This is really good motivation for keeping it up!

    You look fantastic....walking is doing alot for me too!!!

    I walk with my dogs everyday....but I added ankle weights for some more resistance.....whoa...its been working

    I used walking and a good diet to lose 60 pds in 5 months....years ago. Now I've got to do it again :( Stupid me, should'a kept walking.

    PS I also did some very light weights and situps
