Been about twenty days on my official fitness journey. Recently celebrated 11 years of marriage to my high school sweetheart. Love working out in front of kids to be an example to them. Looking to be at 155 lbs. I'm currently at about 168 or so. Can't seem to get over that hump. My doctor says as long as I'm active that's what matters. It's a lifestyle now.

Losing weight comes down to calories... Being active is great for fitness, and helps create a bigger deficit, but eating too much is still going to hinder your weight loss efforts.2

Yeah this app helps keep track. It says at this rate I'll hit my goal in about 5 weeks.0

Sounds like you picked 2lbs a week loss? As you're so close to your goal, picking a slower loss rate will give you more calories. It'll probably be a more sustainable way to go, and mean you'll have plenty of energy to keep up the exercise, work and play with the kids!2 -
Congratulations on 11 years Sir and being a role model to your children.1
