believe me I'm far from having any meaningful advice on loseing weight. Everyone has a different slant on the subject. Here's some of the things that effect me. 1. eating out (not good.) too much salt and bread. 2. Not having any foods ready and eating what's ever in the Refrigerator. also not good. 3. Portion size. I use a smaller plate. 4. Only weigh yourself once a week and not 20 times a day. 5. It takes time for people to notice you've lost some weight. Don't get discouraged.

I agree with #1 for sure. The sodium in restaurant food really impacts me and not in a good way.

I agree 100%! I find that sodium bloats me up. I have found that sugar, and gluten really don't help either.

Number 6. Age is not an excuse.

Number 6 is not an excuse but it does slow down weight loss. Your metabolism slows down and if you have not been an avid exerciser your muscles don't exist so is all takes time. Not impossible but takes longer to achieve.
