Give me your thoughts on the LeVel Thrive diet regimen.....

I have a lot of friends doing the thrive diet regimen. I have been on it for approximately 1.5 months. It does seem to boost my energy, but I'm thinking it is because I'm eating better as well. I haven't lost any weight per say, but my clothes are fitting better. It is very expensive, unless of coarse you get 2 people to buy it under you. I am not a sales person. Just wanting honest thoughts. Not sure if I will continue it or not.

I embrace most of their general principles about eating whole foods dense in nutrition.
My disconnect is when people get dogmatic about diet and such. And I need more meat!
Also, I don't much like the “re-calibration period” where certain food groups are eliminated.
Life is also to be lived...
Good Luck

If you want to do a trendy diet, go for it. But remember that you don't have to pay anyone to lose weight and that giving your money away can't make you thin. You can lose weight for free.2

So, I'm new to Thrive...Just received my 2nd month. It is not the "Magic Pill"...but I'm positive.
1) I DO have more energy...I don't feel like a total zombie at the end of the day (WIN)
2) I have lost weight...but I am drinking ALOT of Water and I'm making sure I stay conservative on my calorie intake
3) I committed to 8 weeks...my friend who started me out told me to try it for 8 weeks...She swears she had an A-HA moment where she realized that Thrive was it....Has that happened for me yet, no....but I have more energy and I've lost weight in this first 30 days(WIN WIN)...so, it's all good...and I feel good.
It's about what works for YOU! Some people can get out and run in the mornings...I don't have that opportunity...some can go to the gym....not me....Am I focusing on getting the nutrients my body needs to function and feel good...yes...and I want to lose weight...so I'm not giving up yet.7 -
So hypothetically if you lose some weight eating this highly restrictive diet, what is the plan when you go back to eating normally, assuming you don't want to keep paying for the diet plan for the rest of your life?
Why not just incorporate more plant based food into your day at a moderate calorie deficit? Which would be free.
@amyscoggins94 going to the gym or running is not necessary to lose weight - there are plenty of people here who have lost weight purely by sticking to their calorie allowance.4 -

Lmao. just looked this up. "THRIVE by Le-Vel is something that's hard to explain, and challenging to describe... it's something that can only be experienced."
seriously??????????? so in other words....just buy this load of crap cuz we can't really prove any of the BS claims we make.
this is indeed a HOAX. there is NO magic pill/shake/powder/creme or anything else that is going to change how your body naturally functions and if there was...why on earth would anyone want to alter their body functions to lose weight. who wants to artificially changed ? what your stuck on it forever?
all that is needed...is to eat at a small calorie deficit every day using everyday foods bought at your everyday grocery store. if people would spend half as much effort in just keeping track of what and how much they eat as they do looking for the next miracle drug..they would meet their goals.
tough love here...sorry to be so blunt, but don't fall for they advertising HYPE. Things like "Premium" and "Premium Lifestyle" and "Make you feel Ultra Premium like never before" as all BS claims that can not be substantiated.
Stop your auto delivery now and track your food and move more.7 -
Oh and its basically a MLM. be a promoter and get it cheaper blah blah blah. this is just so bad. please don't. just please don't.3

Never heard of it. Don't care to try. Counting calories on MFP has been working fine for me.3

Looks like someone took the time to dissect the ingredient lists back when this was peaking in 2015. So glad I missed it.

(Surely I am not the only one who sees that whoever came up with that scam took the word 'level' and added a hyphen to make it supah fanci spechial Le-Vel. Or maybe it is just me as I know someone who added a hyphen to her maiden name when she reassumed it post-divorce for some inane reason.)1 -
I've a friend who loves it. She has gotten in better shape but perhaps she did because she was eating better and exercising. I did the same using mfp.3

If skinny was in a bottle/pill/shake/patch no one would be fat.2
