Good evening everyone. ! I wanted to see what activity level to set Mfp to ? I logged. 12500 steps today. I would say this is my lowest activity day but I want to make sure not to overestimate my activity for calorie consumption sake

Steps can get a little misleading. If you're getting your heart rate up and walking briskly for exercise then it's exercise. If you're just walking during your day, I wouldn't put too much stock in steps. So you aren't sedentary but your body is used to walking at a normal pace so it's not burning a lot of extra calories either.0

Should I set to sedentary or lightly active.0

Do you have an activity tracker that links to MFP? Then it doesn't matter so much. Otherwise if that all came from general non-exercise activity you should go with active.0

Ok let me understand you correctly . I should set Mfp to active. ? Then add in the exercise calories for my totals for the day ?0

Are you linking something like a Fitbit to your account? If so then stick at sedentary and then eat whatever extra Fitbit gives you for your steps. Otherwise I would imagine you are Active at the very least.0

I would say active if that's a normal day for you and you're already working out too.0
