If you're not in a calorie deficit odds are you won't see the difference you want to see. Do you know what your daily calorie number is? I think I read that a regular 400-600 deficit will result in a 1 pound a week lost. 1200 is the minimum.0

Have you ever heard that "weight is lost in the kitchen"? Exercise is great for many things but weight loss is all about consuming fewer calories than your body uses. It's very easy to eat more when you exercise unless you watch your intake carefully. It takes more effort and time to exercise off 250 calories than it takes to not eat them in the first place.
Are you logging your calorie intake? This chart has some great advice:

I've had the same problem. I'm day 25 and I lost a few kgs in the first week but then the weight loss stopped completely, I actually gained a kg. I wasn't too worried about it at first but it's been over a week. I exercise for at least 1hr a day and I message and weigh my food. Even if I went over on my calories I don't think I should have gained but, I'm feeling a lot better within myself, I'm proud I haven't let the scales get me down and I'm sticking to it. I'm giving it 3 months and if it continues I'll see my doctor. I understand where your computer ng from, it's frustrating at times but physically and mentally I feel good. I wish you the best and hope you find a solution0

I am also a teacher with two children...'tweens! I have been struggling with weight loss for years now. Heading on vacation, but will hit the pavement and healthy eating when I return! Willing to be your support in this community. I have been using my fitness pal off and in for 4 years. It works when I commit and have support0
