Managing weight loss

I am wondering if anyone has a tool or guidance on managing weight loss. I've lost 45 over a year ago now and am finding it tough to maintain a steady weight. I understand the body needs time to adjust to the new weight, but what can I do to keep the fluctuations down? I workout in the morning, cardio and anaerobic five days a week, and walk my dog 30-40 minutes every night and 60 minutes every Sat and Sun morning. I also work out during the day Mon, Wed, and Fri. One item I have to take out of my diet again, or reduce is beer.

    Hi
I can tell you what works for me as a long term solution for managing my weight. It's a balanced nutrition with balanced calories intake in relation to calories consumption (no fast food nor alcohol in any form) and intermittent fasting as a life/dieting style. As for beer, it's a big NO-NO for me. One mug of beer contains cca 250 kcal, which is an amount of calories that requires almost an hour of moderate running to burn it. And our body tends to save every calorie surplus as a body fat.

    Stretinjak,

Thank you for the comment. I basically do the same except I do drink beer. The main problem with alcohol, it forces the liver to concentrate on the poison, alcohol, and not on burning fat.

    TavistockToad,

At times, my weight fluctuates anywhere from 5-10 lbs. Besides beer, it may be the amount of calories in.
