Here I go again. I have, at least 50 lbs to lose. I apparently did not make it into a life style the last time I lost 65 lbs two years ago. Being overweight runs in my family along with the diseases that go along with it. So far I am not on medications for diabetes, heart disease, blood pressure, but I am for depression. It is part of my upbringing and lifestyle to resort to food/wine for calming me, temporary pleasure, socialization . Sticking to self-soothing without food, not reaching for food, remaining active... although, I have less to lose then my siblings and mom, I am still 50+ lbs overweight. I am my mom's caregiver. She just turned 80 and cannot do anything except to sit and lay down due to bad hips. She will see her cardiologist today to see if she can have hip replacements.
