Feeling stressed....

A few things going on in my life are really getting to me right now.

Since food is no longer the go-to stress reliever (at least I'm trying to make that habit permanent!), I'm wondering what *your* favorite non-food stress reliever is.

Got my ears on....!

Listen to an audiobook while walking outside. Book takes my mind off things and fresh air relaxes me.

Cardio. Has a great long-lasting soothing effect.

I love audio books! Yes they do help get your mind off things... thanks.

Lifting heavy things makes me feel like a badass warrior woman who can handle anything.

I also like doing (imaginary) violence to things as a way of stress relief - a session on the bags in the gym if I'm feeling active, extensive video gaming if I'm feeling lazy. Definitely works for stress release.

Reading, exercising (of a type you enjoy), writing, some sort of hobby, play with dogs or kids...

Exercise. Music. Reading a good book. Cooking—usually something hands-on that lets me take sharp pointy objects and torment poor innocent vegetables... (Hey. I've got a dark side. Sue me.)

Going to the gym, guided relaxation, "drowning" myself in trashy YT videos (I don't have a TV). And talking to my boyfriend on the phone.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Treat yourself to a facial and fall asleep while someone takes care of you for a change!

Hurrah! The more badass warrior women in this world the better!

I just finished running 9 miles on beautiful trails outdoors. My life feels awesome right now. :D

(Exercise kills stress for me. Not just cardio. Weight training helps too!)
