I'm a single mom of two in my late 40s. I work two jobs. So finding time for me is hard to do. Looking for others who need support and encouragement. Anyone willing to be a MFP friend and us help each of us get to a healthier better place. I am 40 plus pounds over the normal healthy weight. Please feel free to add me

thanks ladies - I have added each of you. I hope we can support each other and get going on the right track to this journey to a healthier us. now to figure out a better exercise plan. any ideas on 15-20 minute cardio plan that you enjoy. I did Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred when I first joined the group back in 13-14. It does work might have to pull that out and start doing this in the mornings before work. When do you choose to exercise? Mornings or nights and which is working best for you?1

Hello ladies, just wondering how you're all doing. Managing to find some me time? How about the healthy eating and exercise?
I'm doing ok for now -I've set myself a calorie allowance that's not too strict and actually find I'm doing better. I don't go off the rails as often as I used to when my allowance was smaller. I used to go over regularly then just keep eating as I was "over it anyway ".
Have a nice day /weekend everyone.1 -
Hi All - I am a 48year old mother who has decided to make this year "my" year after years of looking after everyone else. I have at least 60lb to lose - very happy to be added by you1
-
I'm a not quite 40 mum of 2 (12 and 10) with a stash of exercise DVDs and saved uTube videos to squish into any spare 15 minutes I find between being cook, nurse, agony aunt, cleaner, coordinator, referee, answer phone service, financier, taxi driver, etc, etc. During the day while they're at school I get off lightly and go to work, I'm an accountant. In those spare 15 minutes each day I am me (Mel) and I quite like being me!!!!0

Morning everyone!! How is it going?!0

Awesome to see ladies in a similar stage in life. I 41 with 4 kiddos, job and school I feel so much better when I give myself time but it is always the first to go. Any of you please feel free to add me! I have used mfp on and off for the last almost 5 years. With it I am happier and healthier. The support helps me stay consistent with it. How is everyone doing this summer?0

Hi - would like to be added to your group. Solo mom, NYC, one child away at college. Gained 45 pounds in last 5 years - looking to get back in shape by the time I turn 50!0
-
Hi! I'd like to be added, too. I turned 40 this year. I have 4 kids. I've had a rough year with getting thyroid removed b/c of cancer and then back surgery. Would love more friends/accountability.0

Can I join you too? 45 with two children - work part time and study part time. Little time to myself especially with the holidays starting - rarely get to watch tv for example (though do seem to make time for fb/mfp forums!). Have been on mfp just over 6 weeks - 15lbs lost, 13 to go and know these are going to be harder - couldn't believe how easily the first 8 or 9 came off but it is much slower now...0

I to would like to join. Over 40 married 2 kids. I am learning to make me a priority and that starts with taken better care of myself. I doing small increments. My first goal is 5 pounds. I had lost 20 last year but life happened and I have probably gained it all back. I will weigh tomorrow to know for sure. We deserve this as moms we help everyone else reach their goals. Let's support each other to help us reach our goals0

Feel free to add me! I'm a 40 year old SAHM of 5. My oldest son is 17 and my youngest is 2 weeks old. I had a super rough final pregnancy that just about killed us both, and am looking forward to getting my old life back. I was on bedrest at the end so I'm very anxious to rebuild my body. I have to lose a lot of weight so I will be around for a long time to encourage others.1

Married almost 25yrs, mom of three, desk jockey with an hour commute each way, 47yrs old, 5' 5", 218lb. Started walking 3-4 miles per day and hoping to get down to 150lb by next summer. What is the safest, quickest way to accomplish this? Time to focus on "me" while the older two are off to college this fall and the youngest starts high school.
