Any chance you want to open your diary so we can see? It helps to know what you're doing and maybe offer some suggestions:) Good luck though!0

Hi Ed.
What calories you working to?
What's the deficit from?0 -
You could be putting on some muscle Ed. What is your activity level like?0
-
My daily deficit is 900 +
MFP says this is how low i have to eat to loose 1.5 pounds a week,
As of yet i havent lost any weight. =[0 -
It's hard to tell without some insight into your exercise and food journals, but it's possible you need to drink more water... It's also possible you need to have a day where you gorge on all the things you should eat... When I get stuck I usually take the one day and eat until I'm ready to burst. At that point your body goes "WHOA... Way to much food, I better release these fat stores."
Just a thought.0 -
Well, if MFP told you to eat 1600 calories a day and your only eating 1200 your body may be going into starvation mode which could be causeing you to gain weight. MFP tells you the amount of calories your body needs to keep from going into starvation mode. Then if you do excercise on top of not eating enough calories could also make your body go into starvation mode. I hope this helps if these are some of the things your doing.0

Does your subject mean 400 cal deficit from exercise cals, or daily cals?0
-
Are you also adding your exercise in. This is something that can make your calories go too low. Also is your food balanced eating fresh foods instead of preprocessed. Little things like this can make a huge difference. Before I started MFP my weight would not go down even though I was eating healthy foods and working out. Come to find out for me because I worked out so hard I wasn't getting enough calories. Something to really think about.0

Are you weighing your food or just using measuring cups? Most people underestimate how much they eat if they don't weigh on a digital scale. How are you tracking your calories burned? Using heart rate monitor?0
-
Ditto on @kimcat73, if you open your diary when can be more helpful. But a couple of thoughts that are common pitfalls:
1) Do you have a digital scale? Measuring by volume is not accurate. A scale will make sure the portions you think are getting or what you area actually getting.
2) Are you trying to eat back your exercise calories based on MFP? MFP's rating for calories burned are not necessarily that accurate. Personally I think it makes more sense to set your goal to maintain on MFP and not eat back your exercise calories and use your activity as your deficit. It's just too easy to underestimate your calories eaten and over estimate calories burned.
If you open up your diary I am sure we can give more specific feedback. Also, keep in mind 25 is about the age when you system starts to slow down a bit for the first time and keeping trim is a little harder.0 -

You are extremely small to be trying to lose that much weight...
Change your settings to 1/2 pound a week and eat MORE and you'll probably get better results.0 -

Helice:
Not that you asked.. but, my 2 cents... I think you need to take a look at the kinds of foods you are eating if you want to see results. A lot of take out food and processed stuff. It's harder to lose weight for someone that does not have a lot of body fat. So, if you are one of those people, eating a clean diet becomes more critical in losing body fat.0 -

I do know all of this stuff.
I just struggle so much with clean eating.
Im completely addicted to junk food,
not to mention that there is never anything in.
And that i dont no how to cook.
I can only make things that have instructions on the packet.
And i dont have a clue how the hob works..
Its a sure path to failure!0 -
