Net calorie intake?

I'm sorry if this is a pretty stupid question ><;; Counting calories is nothing new to me but I'm a little confused about my net calorie intake at the end of the day. Umm, for example: My calorie goal is 1390, but today I have eaten 1406. My exercise burnt 236 meaning my net intake is 1170. Is 1390 calories my net intake goal or my general food intake goal? Gosh, I'm so sorry I explained this so crappily ><;;

1390 should be your net. Eat your total 1390, then eat your exercise calories and you will be perfect.0
