Ok I admit I hate exercise. My main sources are walking my dog and house cleaning. How do you know how many calories you burned? For example I just finished deep cleaning my stairs with the vacuum. I spent nearly an hour and carried the vacuum at least 10 times up and down the stairs trying to get all the dog hair up.

i wouldn't count this and would assume any extra calories burned were freebies.1

Walking is in the database. I don't log cleaning or other every day activities. Personally for walking my dog I use the map my fitness app and it will give you distance and calories, although it tends to run high but so does MFP. I would only consume a portion of those calories.0
