I'm a busy mom but I have decided to make time for me. I'm an just starting my fitness journey again. I have set a goal to weigh 123lbs, right now I'm 180. I'm doing fun work outs like mountain biking and walking my dogs! I cut out all processed food and started ViSalus shakes again! I'm excited for my transformation!

    Welcome,

I think these two links are extremely helpful and can help you get the most out of MFP:

    http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1234699/logging-accurately-step-by-step-guide/p1

    http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p1

The first covers accurate logging and some of the tools in MFP to help you make things easier. The second discusses caloric needs and setting goals. This one is a little heavier but if you take the time to digest it there is alot of very valuable information there. These two posts completely changed my MFP experience and helped me be much more successful, so I hope they do the same for you.

    ~Best wishes on your journey

Hi there! I'm a very busy mom too, between work and sports. I decided it's time to get back in shape! Maybe we can be friends!

Mom here too! I know it's not easy, between work, kids/family time, extras...I know for me, and for a long time, taking care of myself was my last priority. I'm getting back on track too, so feel free to add me and we could support each other. Last I checked I was 262lbs and my goal is around 130lbs. I'm a month in, not really on any specific diet, but probably most closely to a Keto diet and I'm already seeing results. I stick to protein and veggies, some fruit in the mornings or with lunch. I calorie count, drink nothing but water, and nothing after 7pm. Wishing you ladies all the best! As moms we're strong for everyone else, now its time to be strong for ourselves! :)
