Ok I've got a few questions about this... my fiance is having his wisdoms pulled tomorrow and is going on a liquid diet for a few days so anything I make is all for me (which is awesome because I get to cook things he won't eat...like fish!)

1 - When you cook it, does it make your house smell 'fishy'? He can't stand the smell of fish.. it makes him sick so I wanna make sure its not going to stink up the house

2 - What does it taste like? Please don't just say good or bad... I need some description, like 'fishy, sour, bitter, sweet, etc'

3 - And lastly, do you have a good recipe for it? Do you bake it in foil? I've never cooked fish before so any help would be awesome!

Thanks!!

I went to Red Lobster and had their wood grilled tilapia. it was the first fish i'd ever tried and liked. that made me want to cook it at home, we made it on the grill and put a little lemon pepper on it and it was wonderful!

Tilapia is a very mild flavored fish. It doesn't have much flavor of its own, so you'll need to add some however you cook it.

Also, you can wrap fish in foil pouch and cook on the grill too (or put directly on the grill depending on the fish). So, if this is an option for you, it would limit any fishy smells in the house.
