Hope to become friends with you all soon.

Thought this would be a good way to pick our captain and a name for our group. And to keep in touch.

    Hello, hello. You stole my idea :tongue:
    I am all ready to get things rolling, though hoping that somebody has experience in Team challenges. It's new to me, so I am automatically backing out of the captain polls. lol
    As far as names go, I for some reason have hit a wall when it comes to clever today and all that has popped into my head so far was Shrinky-Pinks. rofl No idea why, but all I can see is Shrinky Dinks and the image is blocking me from further thought.

    I haven't thought of any names as of yet but we can keep writing a few during the day and come back on tonight and vote on the one most of us like best. (gives time for our other members to pipe in). I will put on my thinking cap and come up with some names. I hope. I am NOT a pink girly girl. :blushing:

    As for team captain - I can take it and/or I don't care who takes it. Just make sure you will have the extra time each day and are here everyday because I think jen mentioned that only the captain will be able to post what we do as a team.

    Hey guys! Yes, I am so ready to bring it!

    As far as team captain, I will have to decline due to working full-time and taking care of an infant after work - so would not have too much extra time. I am very willing and determined to be a great team player/participant:) Pretty in Pink sounds good, - I will think today and get back to you all later - it will be nice getting to know you all!

    Soonersgirl:flowerforyou: thanks for volunteering to be captain. I will step down and let you or januarygirl take it. Not sure if januarygirl wanted it or not, she did not mention it on her post.

    So I am in Eastern time zone - and will be up till about midnight tonight. Should we set a time for us to decide on a group name? Not sure what time zones everyone is on and their time scheduals on MFP.

    Edited to add - I just read the rules jen set and we don't need group name until thurday evening. So we have more time. Ya!!!!

    Happy to do it girls...don't have much going on in the evening time. OK..I say by tomorrow morning, let's have 3 names to vote on. Sound good? That way by tomorrow afternoon, early evening we can have our name chosen. I am with you bigmama, I would like to come up with a name that shows we are ready to do this :) How about the Pink Panthers??? I love that one....Let me know a name or 2 you girls would like to choose from and we will go from there!

    Can't wait to get started :)

    Ugggg I confused Januarygal I think. Yesterday I had 4 people friend me all at the same time and I thought WOW our pink team is awesome we are all in this to win. SO I jumped made a new thread and sent it to all 4 of you. Ummmm this morning after reading january's post and checked out our team names.....:blushing: :blushing: :blushing: :blushing: I noticed that our 4th is not January but another person :blushing: so I sent out a friends request and a link to this thread.

    Have any of you sent our last member a friend;s request yesterday? Maybe she forgot she joined or she is not interested? If we don't hear from her do we tell Jen tonight?

    I noticed many other teams are just making names with "losing wieght" as their base. LOL some are very creative. :laugh: :tongue:

    Yeah, the other member is supposed to be missjaeda. I sent out all of my request yesterday at 7 in the morning, so I guess she hasn't been on since then. :(
    And nothing as far as names go. I was trying to think of something more along the fitness/weight loss route, but sometimes my brain just doesn't feel like being clever. lol

    Definitely liking a spin on 'weigh'. Not sure about cool though. Seems a little relaxed for the butt kicking we'll be doing :devil:

    I was thinking maybe use Pink like an acronym (make up a sentence about weightloss or a kickass team)

    P - pure, pound,painless, perky
    I - innocence,Impact, improve
    N - naughty, nice, never,
    K - kittens, killers, kicka$$,

    Hey guys! Sorry about not getting back right away. Had a busy week with work! But I'm back full force!!!
    I like both "Pink Panthers" and "Weigh Cool". Uhm, not sure what else to say right now? (I'm currently at my work on break) I'll check in after work for sure though :)
