No one knows anything about you.
    You could weigh 50kg or 150kg, young/old, active/inactive, short/tall etc. etc.

Really good idea to read the sticky threads at the top of the Getting Started forum to understand how to use this site for losing weight.

Well, your BMR roughly is 2000 Cal, which is what your body burns to stay alive, so to speak. Note that this 2000 Cal is a massive approximation based on your body type, lifestyle and more. But let's just stick with 2000 Cal to get thru the math.

You take in 1200 Cal, so you create a daily deficit of 800 Cal. One lb of fat is roughly 3500 Cal.

So assuming the entire deficit of 800 Cal per day is met by burning fat, you would take roughly 4.5 days to burn 1 pound of fat. (The actual amount of deficit that is met by burning fat versus burning muscle is again a function of body type, metabolism pathways etc... more on this some other day).

Thus net net, if you burn 1lb fat every 4.5 days, to lose 2Kg of weight, you would take = approx 20days. For the kind of numbers you've given, it is safe to assume that 1200 Cal per day will result in 2Kg weight loss per month.

In other words, you would need to just be moderately active to keep your BMR close to 2000 Cal per day and not need to do too much more in terms of burning calories. The key would be to keep yourself active such that your metabolism is doing its work =
    a) split the 1200 cal into 5 meals : 400, 300, 300, 150, 50 cal each
    b) keep the carbs high in the morn and lite with each progressive meal
    c) Avoid sugar in any meal

You should easily, for your weight, height lose 2Kg per month with the above.

None of the bolded has any effect on weight loss. It's all about calories. How you divide them or what you eat to reach that goal does not matter one bit.
