Hey Everyone :)!! I thought it would be cool to see what everyone else's goals were. Hopefully, this can provide some accountability and further support for people who need it. When I originally started my health journey, I was just focused on getting my diet in check which took A LOT longer to control than I expected (roughly 3 months...lol). Afterwards, I started adding in exercise so for one month I've consistently eaten clean in combination with exercising. Also, I completed the first week of TurboFire and I plan on seeing this program all the way through.

My short term goals are to lose 20 pounds, increase cardio endurance, increase water intake and maintain a positive outlook on food.

Long term goals are to lose 50 pounds overall, better strength in core and upper body and stronger self-esteem.

Stay strong everyone and know that each day is a new day for change. If you slip up, forgive yourself and move forward. Have a beautiful day!

Most importantly and most immediately my goal is to increase water intake, make healthier food decisions, eat smaller portions and not be so sedentary. I lost my mother unexpectedly to a massive heart attack in May so it had suddenly become much more important for me to make these changes to my lifestyle.

Long term, I think it goes without saying that I'm 30-40lbs overweight so I would like to lose that. I'm down 6lbs this month, but I'm also doing some strength training so it's a slow process on the loss as I'm building muscle. That said, long term I'm also looking to be quite toned and continue to be a bit of a gym rat:)

Hi Coffeen! I'm so sorry to hear about your loss but it seems like you are keeping it together. Great job on re-claiming your life and Congrats on the weight loss. I'm with you on the water intake and just being more active. I don't have any support from friends or relatives which makes this journey even tougher but reading the discussions on here are really inspiring. We got this!!!!!

I definitely can relate. You don't realize how addicting certain foods are until you decide to stop eating them. Then all hell breaks loose....lol. My weakness is cheese & chocolate. Great job on getting back on track & the weight loss. We are in this together!
