Time to lose it

Hey, my name is Stephan, I'm turning 35 soon and have not been able to get my weight below 100 kg for as long as i can remember. I'm a bbq addicted foodie which is where i think my main problem lies. Sugary rubs, bbq sauces, breads and other unhealthy sides (did someone say cole slaw) and bacon... god i love bacon.
Seriously though. I have been eating better thanks to this app. Sunday is my cheat day where i hang out with my buddy, light up the smoker, enjoy and watch football. I have lost about 9kg this year so far and am now down to 105kg. I have now reached a plateau which i have been stuck at for about a month. I honestly haven't been all to strict with myself. It was working so far without, but now it's starting to annoy me... so i now plan on being more strict with my caloric intake and logging everything again, not just the days i feel like I've passed my set limit.
Time to go to 99kg and then some!
I would love to have a few more friends here just to keep myself motivated. Getting regular notifications of you doing good will help with that.
Thanks for your support!

There is nothing wrong with good bacon. - ditch the sugar though.1

Just a thought, when you mention bacon this thread could take a life of it's own
Eat your bacon, in reasonable amounts. How about making your own rubs and sauces or even trying something new - I used to love BBQ with the tomato/sugar based sauce and then one day I tried a Balsamic Rosemary glaze and that was all she wrote - so easy and yet so decadent! One of the things that I did with foods and sweets was up the quality that sort of forces you to cut the quantity for some things, plus it really makes it a real treat.
The plateau happens when using the scale, try taking some measurements or even do a little self endurance test. There are times when there are positive changes happening to our bodies that we can't see but they are there so keep up the great work and keep on smokin.'
Now I really want some BBQ2
