Title says it all really. lol

Thinking of making one tomorrow (in wholegrain bread) for lunch but want to add a little something else to it as well.

Yup!!! You can't beat a peanut butter and nanner sandwich. It gets even better on toast after the peanut butter begins to melt from the heat. Good stuff!!!!

Just today for lunch, I had a banana and peanut butter sandwich. It's God's gift to man, I'm pretty sure. I also add strawberry jam when I need to up my calories, and as a sugar addict, it doesn't get any better than that. =)
  • Was thinking of using a butter spread as well, but would that be a faux pas?

I'm thinking some grilled bacon. Might even have one myself for breakfast. peanut butter is disgusting, eps my nasty husband who likes trying to give me a slimy snog after having it!
  • Was never a fan of bacon anyway, but the peanut butter sounds intriguing. I really wouldn't have thought of that combination but it seems the norm here. So I definitely have to try it for myself. lol

A couple of things I'm wondering though

    1. Mashed or sliced?
    and
    2. Butter spread or no butter spread?

Dude!! I've NEVER heard of a mashed banana sandwich!! My stomach was grumbling and I was trying to think of something healthy to much on to hold me over til dinner. I didn't have anything but a banana...didn't feel like having that. :noway: But a mashed banana sandwich with pb and honey? I have to say, it was GREAT!! I ate it without bread as I didn't want to add to my carb count but I'm glad for this "recipe"!! Thanks!

I usually just slice the bananas rather than mashing them.
