I have 15-20 more pounds to lose to get to my goal weight and body type. I have had the HARDEST time with workouts to target my core and help me lose the extra pounds i need. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should do ?

if you are wanting a stronger core weight lifting, planks, dead lifts and other core exercises will help but if you are trying to lose belly fat no exercise will spot reduce fat. to lose fat you need to be in a caloric deficit, get enough protein(0.8-1g per lb of body weight) and do a progressive lifting program that can change your body.with only 15-20 lbs left to lose set your deficit to lose 0.5(1/2_ a lb a week.

fat comes off where it wants when it wants, so you can either lift in a deficit or you can do whats called a recomp-its where you eat maintenance calories and lift heavy and you will lose fat and gain some muscle but its a very slow process.you can do all the core exercises in the world but its not going to reduce fat if thats what you are wondering

Pilates is good for working your core, but according to this app it doesn't burn a lot of calories.
