Hello! I'm looking for some motivators to help me with this. With a deskbound job, it's really hard to not put on weight when I do not really move around at work and am exhausted after driving about 3 hours a day to work and back home. Therefore, I've decided to get on this and track my calories to hopefully lose a good 10 pounds or about 5kg - to start.

Welcome! I have a desk job with a long commute as well, and it's really difficult to save energy for the end of the day. The good news is that weight loss is mostly diet, so you can definitely start losing just by addressing your caloric intake. Have you started reading the posts that are pinned at the top of each forum? If not, there's a ton of good information available there.

Hi, I'm Denise. I also have a desk job. I really try to get up once an hour to stretch my legs. I agree with Alice, wait loss is mainly diet, toning is gained by exercise. Weight loss and healthy living is possible!

Hi, Alice! I wasn't aware of the posts you mentioned. I'll be sure to check it out! Thank you!

Hello, Denise! It's discipline that I lack too. My weakness is sugar - chocolates, ice-cream, cakes, cupcakes, brownies, you name it - and that's what I need to cut down on.

I'm not sure about you both but when there's a favourite food of mine that is put in front of me, I tend to eat more than what I normally do. Have you guys experienced that?
