What do you stand strongly for?

"If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything." So, what do you stand for?

I stand for self-esteem! It easy to say, "I'm fat, I'm ugly, I'm worthless.....no one will love me, I don't deserve anything better then....." Been there, said that. But in the past 6 months I have totally changed my outlook on life. I might not be the skinniest girl or the most beautiful or the smartest. I might not have designer name clothes, etc.
So maybe I wear a size 22 (and shrinking), and yep, sometimes I have acne and I don't know things that other people think are common sense....
BUT, what I do have are morals, beliefs, standards. I have a good heart. I have A-MAZING friends! I have a supportive family. I have a job that I love. I have a sense of self-acceptance. I have a friendly personality, a sunny dispostion and a killer smile!
I can work on the rest and I know I deserve the world! And so do all of you!

    VERY well said! I stand for MORALS and SELF RESPECT! I have NO family (by choice) They aren't worth the drama! I have 2 kids 16 and 7 and have been with my hubby since I was 14! It is so refreshing to hear this post! Stay true to YOU always :)

    Not to make lite of a serious post but this popped up in my news feed and it said "What do you stand strongly for?" and right underneath it said "Ice cream".....I just had to chuckle and think ~ yes at one point in my life I would have most certainly stood strongly for ice cream.

    I stand for following the Golden Rule. That is one thing that people forget about now (Politicians particularly).
    Everyone is out for themselves. Empathy and Compassion have been lost in the shuffle.
    And No, its not "He who has the gold makes the rules" either.

    Working HARD for your money! When I leave work everyday I want to know that I shed sweat (and sometimes blood and tears) for that money so I will appreciate every dime that I have.There's nothing that I can't stand more than someone that gets paid to sit on their FAT *kitten*! Sorry, just my opinion...
