How do I change my begining calorie count?

I've been using this app on & off for a while & it's always been set at 1,300 calories a day. Now that I've added "Map My Ride" it's somehow changed to 1,200 calories per day.

Incase you're thinking that's not much of a difference.... 1,300 calories a day is an exact match to my weight loss shake diet. Otherwise I'm losing one shake a day & having 200 calories left over.... Which I don't want.

Help!!!

So you have a couple options as far as intake is concerned:

Ignore MFPs settings and consume 1300 daily. You may find your weight loss slows a bit depending on variables you didn't share.

Drop down to 1200 calories daily and either drop a shake and have a healthy snack that's 200 calories, or drop the shake diet in favour of one that is easily modified for intake adjustments.

    A few other thoughts:
You are meant to consume at least some of your exercise calories according to MFP's settings.

If adding an app changed your calories, there may be other things going on. I don't have that app so I can't help with that personally.

In the app go to Goals > Calorie and Macronutrient Goals. You should be able to change your goal calories there

    Found it! :)

I was really worried I was going to have to ditch the app (which I find super helpful).

    Thank you sooo much!!
