What food am I eating??

Ok, I picked up some random fruit at Wal-Mart yesterday...Beside the black plums were some sort of fruit that is larger and red/orange/pink. I looks the same size and shape as a peach, but isn't fuzzy... It tastes good, pretty sweet, the inside is a pale yellow, and there is a big seed in the middle??? Anybody know what it is so I can log it???

    This reminded me of the episode of "two and a half men" when Candy was talking about x-raying a chimichanga. One of the guys says " If you don't know whats in it, why are you eating it?" lol Nectarines are obviously edible and delicious but it made me think of that!
