I had the opportunity in May to meet one heck of an inspirational person, someone I admire, Dean Karnazes.
For those who dont know who he is, this man just did the Run Across America, he ran from California to NY in 75 days running between 40-50 miles per day! He also ran 50 marathons in 50 days in 50 states! He ran a marathon in the South Pole! Hes written a few very inspirational books as well.

That dude is NOT human! I've seen a lot about him, and he defies all natural laws of nature. I'd love to meet him too!0

My husband wants to be him when he grows up! Ha! I have read a couple of his books and I think they are great. He is one of the people I think about when I think I can't run another mile.... I don't think I'll ever be running around the south pole naked though! He can keep that all to himself!0

He is an incredible inspiration. His books are all top-notch.

Lucky you! Dean Karnazes is a serious badazz! He won Badwater! 100+ degrees, 100+ miles. True Ultramarathoner!
Did you get to chat w/ him?0 -

Yes i did, quite a bit actually... I wrote all about the experience on my blog which you can find on my site www.500lbs2marathon.com0 -
I've seen them do blood test on him while running on a treadmill in a lab, and his body actually processes lactic acids instead of letting them build up in the muscles.... which makes running forever totally possible! He's not human!0
