Low carb diets work if they allow you to remain in an overall calorie deficit.

How long has it been since you gave birth? Are you counting calories already and logging everything on MFP as accurately as possible? Are you breastfeeding?

Ah I see. It's been 3 months almost since I started logging and since i had my baby too. Yes I'm counting my calories down to the gram. Most days I accurately weight and measure my food. Of course if I eat out this is difficult to do. I know I've been extremely good and been getting out for walks more but nothings budging. No I'm not breastfeeding

low carb isnt magic. All you need is a calorie deficit. Some people find low carb helps them hit a calorie deficit but the deficit is why you lose, Not what you eat but in how much. Iv lost 100 pounds this year eating high carb because their what my body likes. Others have lost plenty doing low carb. Its very individual, Do some testing find foods your body is satisfied with and eat them in proper portions. Dont overcomplicate it.

I guess so. I've done a lower calorie diet before and lost so much but after my baby nothing is coming off! Feel like a completely different person and it isn't working. Maybe I will try a low carb diet for a month and see how they goes. Thank you

Assuming you havent been gaining in meantime, Or not logging things, Congrats youve probably found your maintenance. Now eat a bit less or move a bit more. Carbs really have nothing at all to do with it
