NSV-I can take a compliment :)

I have never in my life been able to take a compliment AS a compliment. Whoever gave it usually got the side eye or "hm, thanks.." While I was pregnant and after, it was "That's sweet, thank you for lying."
My neighbor walked pass with his 18(or so) month old daughter and said, "You look great!" I very sincerely said, "Thank you!"

I'm working my *kitten* off (literally) and I deserve to accept compliments as they are and finally I am :) Woo!

    Good for you. I used to be the same way, but now that I am looking and feeling wonderful, I am able to acknowledge peoples compliments. I think it has a lot to do with how we are feeling inside about ourselves.
