What are your favorite grilling recipes? I LOVE to have my hubby (LOL!) grill. We are pretty boring though with plain ole chx, chops, turkey burgers, potatoes on the grill. They have a little seasoning of course, but I need a little pizzzzzaz! =D

I love to grill zucchini, yellow squash, onions and garlic together on the grill, YUM!!!! Also marinate chicken breasts in fat free italian dressing and grill! Something else great is burgers (i prefer turkey) with a whole green chile, slice of cheese, and slice of canadian bacon. So good!

Have you tried pizza on the grill?

When I had a grill I used it all the time.....

Turkey breast rub with olive oil and cover with italian seasonings. I used to cook on grill in a pan loosely covered with foil.

    Grilled pineapple is awesome!

Shish kebobs, Best to put veggies separate since they don't need to cook as long. I marinated meat and veggies (Separately) in Italian dressing fat free. Put on skewers and cook till done (or if beef to doneness you prefer).

I get a little weirded out by putting raw meat touching my veggies...I'm sure that it's ok, but a little scary to me! Maybe I'm just crazy!? lol :)

I buy it. Safeway makes some wonderful marinades. They also have a good Teriyaki
  • A lot of ppl are saying to grill veggies...HOW exactly to I do that?!? I definitely have not mastered that one. Do I wrap in foil, grill on foil, etc??
  • Depends on the veggie! I like to grill zucchini, portobello mushrooms, peppers, and eggplant. I say it depends because you can put them right on the grill, but if its cut real small (like pepper) or kidna thin (like my zucchini strips) it will fall right through. Eggplant rounds and whole portobello mushrooms will stay fine. I have a grill tray which is wonderful and works better than foil because you still get the black grill marks without the mess or trying to keep them from falling through the grates. I usually lightly brush them in olive oil and sprinkle with a mix of seasonings like garlic powder, black pepper, oregano, and paprika! They are delicious!!

I get a lot of grilling ideas from the food network. Bobby Flay has a lot of good grilling ideas. I like to grill corn and salmon.

Grilled peaches are awesome. Any fish on planks are good. Veggies will usually grill in the tin foil containers from the dollar store. We also grill bread (with or without butter), asparagus, mushrooms, potato slices (depending on how they are sliced can be used as potato skins or potato chips), etc.

Flank steak or chicken marinaded in Claude's Fajita Marinade. Cut squash, zucchini, and carrots into long 1/2" or so thick slices. Toss the veg in either a little olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning of choice, or toss in extra fajita marinade, or Italian dressing and grill directly on the grill. I do the veggies before the meat and keep them warm in a pan in the oven. Put veggies and meat of choice on a whole wheat tortilla with a tablespoon of Archer Farms Mango Peach salsa (in the veggie cooler with the fresh salsa/guac/dressing). This is my all-time favorite meal. I eat it at least once a week and I never get tired of it. Grilled carrots are amazing. Yum.
