Workout timing/ motivation?

I am an elementary school teacher and the school I work at is about an hour from my house. I've had a wonderful summer of working out and I don't want it to fizzle when school starts back next week like it has in the past. A little background info before my question: I get up at 5:15 am to get ready and head out the door (I shower at night so that saves me some time in the am.) The earliest I ever get home is 4:15 and I go to bed around 9:00. The problem is by the time I get home in the afternoon I am exhausted and, most days, I cannot make myself work out. I thought about trying morning workouts but I would have to get out of bed around 4 am to have time to workout and shower before work, plus that would put me going to bed even earlier...

Any ideas/suggestions? How do you motivate yourself after a tiring day??
Thanks!

I work out in the evening. I actually prefer it. It helps me to rest well at night. I usually do it after dinner or a couple hours before bed.

This. It's not too bad once you get used to it. Supper over, dishes washed, pick a workout, and GO! Don't even think about it!

Whenever the baby is asleep!! Usually late morning or early afternoon. I am currently sat here in shorts and my bra after almost falling off the cross trainer! God its hard work!

I've had to start doing it when ever I can. Life gets so hectic at times. I tell myself that no one is going to give me my body back. I have to take it. If I'm super tired I will tell myself just do something for 10 minutes. If your still tired you can quit. Usually though once you've started you want to finish. So I guess I lie to myself :)

I used to get up at 4am and workout, but ended up missing on that an extra hour of sleep!..lol! So now I usually workout after work... However, I've noticed lately that giving myself about an hour or so to unwind and grab a light snack I have more energy and motivation to workout... So been working out in the early evening.
