I am the mom of two young children and I stay home full time. I am sick of not being able to fit into my "pre-pregnancy" jeans from my first child. I am a bit skeptical of all those diet plans and pills. I think of them as I would trying to quit an addiction...it is only a bandaid. I thought this would be a good way to keep track and be responsible to what I am eating and how much I am exercising. Lets face it, I have about 4 months to get into swimsuit shape so my oldest can take swim lessons WITH ME. One thing i would love would be some great tasting low fat (calorie counted) dinner entrees that my whole family will enjoy...any suggestions on where I can look??

Hello and welcome to MFP. You will love this site, it is so awesome. I love this site so much, it is so supportive, helpful, and motivational. I just wanted to wish you great luck on your weight loss journey. You can do this.
  • A great site for food is Allrecipes.com they have a Healthly recipes section and it tells you how many servings and carlories there are in all the meals. Hope this helps.

Hi! This is the place for you! I absolutely love the support and resources here. As for low-cal dinners, there was a thread just a few days ago on the nutrition board. You can look thru those posts or just search the message boards for "dinners under 500 cal". Good Luck!
