N to the S to the V

Whenever doing a physical activity with my boyfriend I always lag behind. Sometimes the lag is because he's more fit or coordinated than I am. Other times it is because my short legs can't keep up with his much longer ones.
Today we went for a bike ride for just under 20 miles. Not once did I lag behind on a hill AND when we stopped he was more tired than I.
To his credit, because of his work schedule he hasn't ridden much of late. As I'm off for the summer, I have been riding a lot. One or two rides and he'll be leaving me behind again but, for today I'm super happy I kept up!

Good for you! I see a lot of couples riding their bikes and the man is always in front or side by side. Maybe I'm just the anti-macho-man but I don't like to see that. I don't do it when I ride with my wife.
But in your case it's great that you actually had the conditioning to keep up, good work!0
