Hi I'm looking forward to losing 100 lbs by next August if anyone is add me we can do it together!

20lbs down and 80lbs to go. Add me. It would rock if I could get it off by next August but I'm going pretty slowly at this point.3

First 60 "gone" the next 75 I would love some friends to keep pushing. I've been doing this since May 1st. Eating right, back on a bike, back in the pool and back on the racket ball court.4

I already lost my 100lbs, came in to throw out the support.
It is possible, y'all can do it! No need to rush, slow and steady also works. You'll have some ups and downs due to hormones/offdays/etc, but as long as you are trending downward, all is good!6 -

What is everyone doing as far as eating? I'm only eating fruits brown rice beans and veggies this week I'm just trying to eliminate the "Bad Foods"1

I have a crap ton to lose, and I welcome more friends! I do have an open diary, and my food choices are all over the place. But I'm working on it, and working more on moderation instead of overeating when I want something that's less than healthy.1

Just as a heads up - don't do that. There are no "bad" foods - all foods provide nutrition, in different amounts and combinations. We need to get in a range of nutrients every day, but over time, not eat too much. To lose weight, you have to eat a little less for a while. You'll still be eating well. In fact, in order to eat less for a long time, which you have to do if you have a lot of weight to lose, you have to take special care to eat well. Eat a balanced and varied diet - this means food from all the food groups every day, and different foods through the day and from day to day. You can (and I think, you should, or else you'll get bored, feel deprived, resentful, and give up) eat any food you like. Just eat appropriate amounts. Your food diary set with your personal calorie goal will tell you ho much is appropriate, if you log everything you eat, and do it correctly and consistently.Igotthe_keyz wrote: »What is everyone doing as far as eating? I focus mostly on eating fewer cals than I burn. I don't want to cut out all the bad foods completely, because I consider this more to be a lifestyle change than a full blown diet. I know I won't be able to stick with it, if I cut out all the things I like, so instead of avoiding them I am working on portion control.
As long as I eat fewer cals than I burn, I should still be able to lose weight

I'm eating that way bc I want to cut diary and meat out of my diet but your right I have been eating in moderation that's what I believe got me ready to cut diary and meat out of my diet bc since I have been eating in moderation I haven't been eating much of that and I like the way my body feels without it everybody is different and I found what works for mekommodevaran wrote: »

When I say "Bad" foods ppl I mean chips cakes cookies candy bars funnel cakes ice cream etc.... that's the type of stuff I was eating on the regular sometimes just those things alone no meals or nothing so just to be clear that's what I mean by "Bad" foods it's a learning process and im learning through experimentation throughout this process what works best for me1

My mini goal is to lose 25 lbs and once I do that I will decide what my next goal will be. I don't have a set time to lose it but by next August sounds good to me! Feel free to add me as a friend.2

None of that is bad food. Food is just food. Better off not labeling food.
Any food can be labeled "bad" if that is what you consume majority of the time. If she had a wide range of foods she is eating like salads, chicken, fish, fruit/veggies on a daily basis then she'd have a variety but she stated all she would eat was sweets and junk food. That does not do a body good inside or out and makes them a bad food. But if she were eating those junk foods here and there throughout each week along with nutritious meals then it would be different.2 -
