Weight loss and breastfeeding

Hello, I am 11 weeks postpartum and I'm ready to loose this weight! I am exclusively breastfeeding and I found it almost impossible to loose the weight while breastfeeding my first baby (I really hope this time around is not the same). I'm not willing to compromise my nursing relationship, but I'm very motivated to loose 37lbs. I added 300 calories to my daily caloric intake and will adjust when and if I need to.

Hey girl... I'm 3 weeks postpartum exclusively breastfeeding as well. I lost very quickly while breastfeeding my first two kiddos, but that was ten yrs ago and finding it a bit more slow moving this time around in my thirties. Nursing my babe is first priority, but hoping as he gets a bit bigger I can get more active and lose the 18 lbs I have to go. Looking for other PP/Breastfeeding mama's friends for support on here. Feel free to add me if you are too. :)

Hi! I'm exclusively breastfeeding. My daughter is currently 4months. I didn't start a diet till she was 3months and I've lost 10lbs so far. I haven't had any supply issues.

Hi ladies, what I find the hardest about losing weight while breastfeeding is how extremely hungry I always am. I know that I am hungry because my body is making milk but it's hard to keep under my calories and eat healthy when I feel like I'm starving! I only nurse at night (my kiddo is 2 and I'm trying to wean) but this has been a battle since day one. And I have 20 lbs to lose. Any healthy and filling snacks that you eat?

I lost weight fast breastfeeding both of my boys. It was like it fell off. After that I gained it back. That's why I am here now..

I'm like a bottomless pit when breastfeeding and have a hard time keeping it under control. Lots and lots of fruit and vegetables, sometimes nuts, but my fave right now is plain greek yogurt mixed with mashed banana and sliced strawberries. Loaded with goodness but tastes like dessert. Lol

Yep... right here. Maybe up your calories to something you can live with. My son is 9 months and I'm trying 1600.... if it's not doable will up my calories to 1800 and leave it there. Snack wise I'm not a snacker. When I snack it turns into a meal so I just eat 3 squares a day usually. Good luck!! I have 60lbs to lose and it's not easy. This 3rd baby got me good!
