I wear gloves, but I still get red marks after a major lifting workout.

Hey, it's the little things in life that motivate, right? Keep up the great work. Women lifters are awesome!

I LOVE this post :) Whenever I use kettle bells I tend to get these big bruise marks on my wrists and I revel in those bruises so much. Glad it's not just me who likes stuff like this :)

When I first started lifting, many moons ago, I was told that couldn't get gloves until I had earned my calluses. It was super exciting for me to go shopping for gloves when the calluses had formed.

You've got your calluses! Now you too can invest in gloves. :)

Battle scars rock! Callouses, bruises, blisters, and even skin tears from pull-ups=strength, determination, and motivation!!!

All good until they bleed. Happened to me for the first time doing mass pullups the other day. So I am the opposite and going to the feminine side and using a pumice stone to try and sort them out.

go chalk. It's heaps better :) I have gloves as well but whatever you're holding slips straight to the end of your fingers anyway so you will lose grip quicker. And when chalked up, it doesn't hurt.

Its gross but a good battle scar! I have a few that opened (awful BTW) because we did monkey bars in Crossfit! I felt like a kid again. And yeah, the gloves do not work for that!
