I'm new to the group thing here. I'm looking for motivational help!!! I am morbidly obese and I really would like to lose 10% of my weight. So please any help would be appreciated. My biggest problem is snaking and night eating

    Log faithfully, make nutritious choices, exercise helps you feel better, but you can't out exercise the fork. Try and avoid the fad, and product pushers and you will do great. Add some friends it helps too.

    hey i'm new here too! i'm not morbidly obese, just somewhat overweight, but i got this app bc i'm on the way to gaining more weight if i don't do something. i have a problem eating too late too, but i overeat instead of snack. i find it helps to distract yourself. the kitchen is downstairs, so i go upstairs and do something i enjoy to avoid eating.

    Good luck on your journey and congratulations on taking the first big step!! I have found it very inspiring to look at people's progress and before/after photos. I have just started the DASH diet which is exciting to me because I think I am finally cluing in to how to eat healthy yet satisfying meals. Every little thing we do for ourselves to improve our health and wellness is a good thing. I've been on a path to wellness myself over the past year and it has been really interesting and fulfilling. I find that for probably the first time in my life I am treating myself with care and compassion. Every 'set-back' is a lesson and I accept each one as part of the process. I wish you all the best on what will certainly prove to be a journey of self-discovery which will most certainly lead you to a better place.
