Im not sure what this work out is your following but yes it gets easier, your muscles learn and remember what you have put them through so become trained in that excersize meaning that it hurts less and will become like second nature to them.
Don't be miserable, just think how much it will all be worth it when you are your goal weight

thanks , I guess any of jillian michea's dvd's are very tough.it's routines , like burpee's , caterpillars , mountain climbing , crunches and all that stuff
  • I felt the same way doing P90X with my brother! I was left feeling very discouraged and hopeless- two familiar feelings I have felt in past attempts to lose weight, which are usually followed by me giving up. This time however, I've come to the realization that I'm not at the stage when I can can do extreme workouts. I'm still very unfit and could actually hurt myself. So, my plan is to do 1 of 2 things: Do every other exercise for a week, then gradually add more until I can do them all flawlessly. Or, do all exercises, but only for half the time the instructor does them (for P90X, there is a timer) and gradually add minutes until I can do them for the entire extent. This way, my muscles don't get used to the same routine and can actually grow stronger.

It's completely up to you, though. It took me many disappointments with myself to realize I'm not Superwoman, and I can't do everything right away. It takes time and patience.

I found by the third week of that particular DVD that I was starting to be able to keep up. Some of the moves are an absolute killer though. Which is good!

oh yeah the thing is I don't really have my heart set on an actual 6 pack just a flatter tummy , lol
  • Best of luck to you! And don't feel miserable, by the looks of it you're working hard and doing great! Feel free to add me :)
  • Same here!I'll be perfectly content with a flat tummy. Maybe eventually I'll want some definition, but I'll be thrilled for a body I can feel comfortable walking in a bikini in!

i think frustration and resentment along the way are a normal part of the process, and will just make reaching your final goal all the sweeter <3

Hi Im on level 2 of 6 week 6 pack. and yes it defo gets easier. (level 2 is harder though).

I would suggest that you change the routine slightly. Dont do the burpees and do star jumps and also on the catapilla's just do 2 instead of 3 (and go slower). If you do that for a week then try and change the move back?

I sometimes cant manage a move or Im tired so I just change the move (rather than stop or stand still). xxx
