After a bad knee injury I have been immobile for the last couple of months and have gained a ton of weight. I am now in recovery and doing daily water excercises which are doing a world of good for my knee and general form. I need to lose much more weight but in developing my own daily routine it now seems like a possibility. Feel free to join in....all you need is water to swim and walk in. :)

Hi there! I'm attempting to get knee pain from osteoarthritis under control (I start Hyalgan shots next week), as well as some mystery elbow pain, but in the meantime it's no impact cardio exercises for me. Tonight is my first adult swim lap class and I'm really looking forward to it!

I have had seven knee surgeries plus the injections and everything else. I've always used swimming to help my recovery. As soon as I got the ok from my surgeon I was straight to the pool.

leajas1 taking a class is a good idea you'll benifit a lot from it over trying to figure it out on your own.

Yes, swimming is the best! After having a bad injury I got back into swimming right when my skin allowed it and I was finally able to move a bit again! It was the best
