weight fluctuates for a number of reasons, could be fluid retention...as long as you are eating and exercising for weight loss...you should not stress that it is actual fat gained..avoid weighing yourself everyday..and a suggestion also is to weigh yourself first thing in the morning before consuming food/liquid and after voiding. just my 2 cents.0

That happened to be the other day too. I think that's why the tell you to weigh yourself at the same time of day. I do it in the morning before I've eaten or drank anything, and after I go to the bathroom. Then I know my stomach and bladder are always empty, which should mean there's nothing going on in my body that's going to throw off my "true" weight. I'm no expert, but that's what I've heard and it seems to work for me.0

^^^^^ Agreed. I weigh myself almost every morning, however I take the actual weight to record on here every Wednesday morning. All the other weigh-ins that I do are for my own morbid curiosity rather than anything else (I'm a glutton for punishment.)0 -
If you ate something salty it could be water weight, but if you are exercising it could be muscle.... who knows? LOL Measuring inches is always better than going by the scale. Don't let it set you back, if you are doing the right things, the weight will come off! Good Luck!0

Sleepwalking snackins, or alien abduction and impregnation. Those are the only reasons I can think of.
Or maybe you had a large drink between weigh ins0 -
I am no expert but I have been told that you should not weigh yourself all the time cause your weight will fluctuate. It was suggested to me to weigh myself once a week at the same time of the day preferably first thing in the morning. I gave up on weighing myself that much I now weigh in once a month. I have been on a strict program and cannot lose any weight it is very frustrating, but the outcome is that I feel so much better, I am hoping that once I break through this plateau the weight will start to fall off fast???? I don't worry as much anymore about what the scale says, as long as you are eating healthy and getting exercise you are then improving your health and lifestyle. Don't give up, keep working out and eating healthy and your hard work will pay off. I hope this helps you out. Good Luck.0
