I got to the office this morning, DREADING this day because I'm working on several very frustrating projects (and with several very frustrating people). But sitting there in my inbox was an e-mail from a client - thanking me for my excellent work on a recent project, and saying that they couldn't have done it without my help.

The best part? He copied my boss. :smiley:

    For me having a client thank me makes a huge difference. In my job appreciation usually goes to the doctors, which is fine, but what the clients don't see is all the care and work that the support staff put in for the patients, including many hours of unpaid work which we volunteer.

    The support staff is my favorite reason for going to the doctor's office! :D
