Shannon, great job on the eating, and have a great workout tonight!!! As I stated yesterday, phooey with the scale, it will be there when you are ready.
Yesterday was an okay one for me...didn't get in all my water, but was fine on cals, did an hour of weights/abs, but no cardio. A lil behind on water this morning, but will get it all in, and then later off to the Y for strength training and probably some cardio.

I tried getting out of lifting last night but forced myself to. To my surprise, I feel I am ready to add my weight to my workout again. May not B getting smaller but I getting stronger.

Weighed this morning down 2 had a great compliment yesterday joining fitness center friday - so I am a happy girl!
I am now past the halfway point and on the down side while I am down sizing!:laugh:

Good morning Gutters!!!
I did good yesterday......I had 3 calories left :laugh: :drinker: I drank all my water, did 55 minute Full Throttle Amped TaeBo, 275 crunches, 50 push-ups (5 reps of 10 in between my crunch reps), walked the dog a mile, and I am sore as H-E-double hockey stick :bigsmile: :smokin:
I put my scale in the closet:mad: :explode: And I'm not touching it until the challenge is over.
If I didn't hide it.....I fear I may do something horrible........and I will not be held responsible for scale parts flying through the air, hitting someone in the head, and laying all over the house.
Stupid scales!!!

Keep it up. little by little you will get there. Just don't give up. :flowerforyou: You didn't learn your unhealthy habits overnight, you won't learn healthy ones overnight either. It takes time, patience, and determination. :drinker:
And yes, I'm running out of time for the wedding.....sooooooo I've been really kicking it into high gear. Not to mention, the last few 10-20 lbs are really a pain in the *kitten* and hard to get off. :grumble: Banks wasn't jokin when he put up the weightloss stages.....stage 5 sucks :explode: But I WILL get them off.:drinker: I'm gonna end up adding another 10 lbs to my final goal but for now, I'm working on the first goal. And I'll probably maintain til after the wedding. I don't want my dress falling off :blushing: :bigsmile: :laugh: (at least not until AFTER the reception:devil: :smokin: ) So once I do that final fitting on my dress so they can pull it in.....which they will have to....I bought a dress 2 sizes too small for me and now it needs to be pulled in. :drinker: That is an awesome feeling :bigsmile: but once they pull it in I have to maintain so it fits right for the big day.:drinker:0 -

We're not taking our honeymoon until next spring. With him being laid off, we just can't right now. BUT next spring, we're thinking somewhere tropical. Bahamas, Cancun, Hawaii would be nice :bigsmile: :drinker: But that may be a little out of reach. Not sure. One of these days, I'm gonna take some time and really do some research.We ARE going to take 3 days after the wedding and stop in the smokies at a log cabin or something and take a mini vacation. :bigsmile: So it will be nice.

Hey, everyone!! Long time no post!! I hope everyone has been keeping up the GREAT work in my absence!!! I did fall off the wagon over the weekend, as I do EVERY weekend, but much to my horror, I actually gained for the first time since starting!! :sad: But anyway, I'm going to just wipe up my tears and keep on truckin'!!
So I have a question: How do those of you who do exercise videos (tae bo, 30-day shred, etc.) log your cardio? How do you know how many calories you are burning??? I FINALLY :happy: got my "Cardioke" video and I'm not really sure how to log it. If I put it under dance/aerobics/modern/ballet (because that really is what it is, dancing) I'm not sure if it's accurate. What do you all do?0 -

This AM was WI day for me...was somewhat scared after TOM and our weekend get away. Much to my surprise I was the same as last week (I'll take it!).
Yesterday, I picked right back up...40 minutes TJ Cardio Party, 20 minute TJ Workout, stayed just under my calories, and drank so much water it was unreal.

I FINALLY :happy: got my "Cardioke" video and I'm not really sure how to log it. If I put it under dance/aerobics/modern/ballet (because that really is what it is, dancing) I'm not sure if it's accurate. What do you all do?
I log Shred as general circuit training and Biggest Loser cardio as aerobics - close as I can get til I get my heart rate monitor which is coming on Friday...I ordered the Polar f6 PINK! I am so excited....now I need some hot workout clothes to wear to the fitness center...going looking tonight if I get brave enough to go out in the cold!
Kell - tropical sounds like a good plan. We went to Sandals Ocho Rios when we were married a short time - it was amazing - it's all inclusive (food and drink - yes beer and wine too) and you can eat at any of the Sandals on the Island (Jamaica) so it gave a lot of variety The Sandals Ocho Rios is where some of the movie Cocktail with Tom Cruise was filmed (so I was told)0 -
Cheryl...I highly recommend going all inclusive (it was so nice to not have to worry about $$$$ once we got to Jamaica). When Eric went on a cruise for Spring Break a few years before we got married he was SHOCKED when he received his liquor tab at the end of the trip....which lead to our decision to go all inclusive:laugh:0

I suppose I should try my scale at home before I go crying. I got weighed at my Dr's office so maybe her scale is a little different from mine (that's why I didn't change my ticker yet! A girl can dream, right?) I'm not going to try right now though...too late. I'll try in the morning and see how things go!!0
