Meal ideas for a family BBQ

So next week my family is having a "reunion". It is mostly myself, my mom and my aunt that are in charge of making food for everyone. Problem is we have several family members that have dietary restrictions-I'm allergic to wheat, barley and oat, my one cousin has celiacs, several family members are vegetarian or vegan etc. we really don't want to have to make tons of different dishes to accommodate anyone-we'd rather have a few main dishes that a suitable for everyone.

That said, anyone have any ideas about what I could make that is gluten free, vegan, and dairy free?

Kebabs. You can do vegetation and non vegetation choices, or even a kebab bar where people pick tbier own foods on a stick, build them, and pick a sauce, then have the bbq chef cook for them. That could be a ton of fun! Heck even suggest guests bring kebabable goodies to share! When deserts can be grilled up, pinalples and peaches grilles with butter or honey are AMAZING.

Grills can be used for more things than just meat. Also-it's not a "vegan BBQ", we just have a few family members who are vegan.

I like the idea of a Kabob Bar, too. You can have chicken and beef cubes, maybe some shrimp, and then all different kinds of veggies, and then let everyone mix-and-match to make their own kabobs up before grilling. This way, everyone will get exactly what they want and like. And it means less work for you, too. ;)

Throw a bunch of different salads together as sides with different dressing options and you're good to go.

Above all, have fun with your family. :)

    Bean salad:
    1 can of kidney beans
    1 can of black beans
    1/2 a red onion, chopped
    2 colored peppers, chopped
    1/4 a cup olive oil
    2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
    2 spoonfuls minced garlic

Add black pepper to taste. Mix all the ingredients and let them chill in the fridge.

Veggie platter with hummus for dipping.
    Fruit!

If you have access to jackfruit, you can smoke it, sauce it and end up with a pretty good vegan bbq dish (I'm a carnivore FYI). Much better texture than tofu.

Thank you everyone! We really like a kebab idea and will likely go with that. I know we will have two grills (because we have a lot of family coming) so I guess we can keep the one grill "veggies only".

I always do a fruit and veggie tray as appetizer/side.

Vegetarian baked beans would go well with kebobs.

Fritos and plain potato chips are vegan and gluten free I think.
