I hate. Hate HATE STEVIA. I am prediabetic though so using plain old sugar is not in my best interest anyone tried whole earth? It has monk fruit in it I guess. How did it taste?

I like Arctic Zero "ice cream" and it's made with monk fruit. I like the flavor, it doesn't have that fake sugar aftertaste and I don't like stevia either. A lot of people put it down, but I really like it especially since it's also lactose free and I'm lactose intolerant. And it's super low calorie! 150-300 calories per PINT! Arctic Zero is what's getting me through this 100 degree summer heat B)

For your coffee? Add milk to your coffee instead. The milk takes out the bitterness and it has a bit of protein.

I like monk fruit sweetener. I use it for all my baked goods instead of sugar. I also add to my oatmeal or other microwaved items to sweeten. I have not added to any liquids though, so cannot attest to how the sweetener is there - I use SF syrup for my morning tea.

Just a note about Stevia - the varieties that have fillers in them (like Maltodextrin) definitely have a weird awful aftertaste. Also, Rebiana is a chemically modified form of stevia, it is NOT pure stevia either...

'Pure' white Stevia leaf extract powder (Stevia rebaudiana) is the one I really like - no after taste as long as you don't 'dump' it in. I buy 'Organika' brand

It tastes terrible to me (so does Stevia), but I don't think there's any way to find out other than trying it.
